Most you might have seen in the portal news about the gapps package by Recognized Contributor TANTRUMS.
Named MultiPack++ it is a separate zip that is to be flashed after any CM/AOKP/AOSP ROM exactly as you would with a regular GAPPS package, the difference here is that its made using the Aroma Installer and therefore allows you to pick exactly which of the Google Apps you want to install, while at the same time giving you the option to remove any system apps you dont want. It also includes numerous other features such as the option to install different launchers, fonts, and even a GPS fix for those who may require it.
